Hosting, writing, and producing The HillTalks was one of my first explorations into audio and the power of the interview. The weekly Howard University campus news show stays in conversation with it’s students, and serves as a platform to amplify HBCU voices. In 2023, an episode covering a string of bomb threats that targeting campus received a Society of Professional Journalism Mark of Excellence Award for Best Use of Multimedia.
